1. Overview
EdgeLock is building a performance-based platform for pickleball players through match tracking, analytics, player insights, and paddle customization tools powered by BrineBrain.
At this stage, our services may include:

Founding Player offers

EdgeLock and BrineBrain are early-stage products and services that may continue to evolve over time.
2. Use of Services
By using this site, submitting information, or participating in any EdgeLock or BrineBrain program, you agree to:

Provide accurate and honest information

Use the platform for personal, non-commercial purposes unless otherwise approved
-
Not misuse, copy, reverse engineer, exploit, or interfere with the platform

Not submit false, misleading, duplicated, or manipulated information
EdgeLock reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or remove access if misuse is detected.
3. Founding Player Offer
The Founding Player offer is a limited early access opportunity.
By purchasing or participating in the Founding Player offer, you acknowledge that:

Benefits may evolve as the platform develops

Early access timing, product availability, and final features may change
-
Benefits are offered as early supporter value and are not guarantees of future financial return
Benefits may include:

Founding Player purchases are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.
4. No Guarantees
EdgeLock and BrineBrain provide match tracking, performance insights, paddle setup recommendations, and player reports for informational purposes only.
We do not guarantee:

Performance improvement

Match wins
-
Rating increases
-
Tournament success
-
Injury prevention
-
Specific paddle performance results
-
Accuracy beyond the data submitted by users
All insights, recommendations, and reports should be used as guidance only.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, names, logos, systems, analytics, reports, recommendations, product concepts, software features, and data systems are the property of EdgeLock, BrineBrain, or their respective owners.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, reverse engineer, sell, or exploit any part of the platform, products, branding, or data systems without written permission.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EdgeLock and BrineBrain are not liable for:

Equipment damage

Tournament disqualification

Lost opportunities

Injury, soreness, discomfort, or gameplay issues

Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to use of the platform or products
Use of EdgeLock and BrineBrain services is at your own discretion and risk.
7. Updates to Terms
EdgeLock may update these Terms & Conditions as the platform, products, services, or programs evolve.
Continued use of the site, platform, products, or services after updates are provided constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

BRINEBRAIN TERMS & CONDITIONS
General Match Logging Terms for Non-Pilot Players
These Terms apply to general BrineBrain users who are logging matches but are not part of the Pilot 50 Program.
BRINEBRAIN
1. Overview
By creating a BrineBrain profile, logging matches, submitting player information, or using BrineBrain match tracking features, the player agrees to these BrineBrain Match Logging Terms & Conditions.
BrineBrain allows players to record pickleball match information, track performance, receive reports, compare trends, and help improve future player performance tools.
These Terms apply to players who are not part of the Pilot 50 Program unless they are separately accepted into that program.
2. Eligibility
Users must be at least 13 years old to create a BrineBrain player profile unless BrineBrain creates a separate approved process for younger users.
Users under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
BrineBrain may suspend or remove accounts that provide false information, misuse the platform, violate these Terms, or create risk to other users, the company, or the platform.
3. Player Profile
Players may be asked to create a profile with information such as:

Name

Email

Age range or birthdate confirmation

Skill level

Dominant hand

Grip style
-
Paddle brand and model
-
Singles or doubles preference
-
General playing frequency
-
General injury, soreness, comfort, or fatigue feedback if voluntarily provided
Players agree to provide accurate information and keep their profile reasonably updated.
4. Match Logging
Players may log match data, including but not limited to:

Win/loss results
-
Singles or doubles match type
-
Opponent or partner information, if applicable
-
Serve errors
-
Missed dinks
-
Missed third shots
-
Hand battle outcomes
-
Unforced errors
-
ATPs, Ernies, Berts, or other tracked events
-
Paddle setup details
-
Tournament, league, recreational, or practice match type
Players agree not to knowingly submit false, misleading, copied, inflated, manipulated, or fraudulent match logs.
5. BrineBrain Data & Usage
When you submit match data, profile information, feedback, or other information through BrineBrain, you agree that:

Your responses may be used to generate performance insights for you

Your data may be aggregated and anonymized to improve the platform
-
Your data may be used to improve BrineBrain and EdgeLock products, services, reports, and recommendations
-
Your match data may help improve future software features and paddle setup logic
BrineBrain and EdgeLock may use anonymized or aggregated data trends for:

Product development
-
Performance benchmarking
-
Research and analytics
-
Improving player experience
-
Paddle setup recommendations
-
Software development
-
Facility, league, tournament, or event integrations
-
Marketing insights and business planning
We do not sell your personal data or email address.
Your identity will not be tied to publicly shared data without your explicit permission.
6. Personal Information and Privacy
BrineBrain will handle personal information according to its Privacy Policy.
Players should not submit sensitive personal information unless specifically requested and necessary.
Players should not submit another person’s personal information without permission.
Players understand that match data may be used to generate reports, recommendations, rankings, insights, or product suggestions.
7. Feedback and Suggestions
Players may submit ideas, feature requests, paddle setup notes, product feedback, software suggestions, or other recommendations.
By submitting feedback, players allow BrineBrain and EdgeLock to use, modify, develop, commercialize, or incorporate that feedback without owing compensation, ownership, royalties, approval, or credit unless separately agreed in writing.
8. Reports and Recommendations
BrineBrain reports, stats, insights, and paddle recommendations are provided for informational and performance-tracking purposes only.
They are not:

Medical advice

Physical therapy advice
-
Professional coaching advice
-
Legal advice
-
Tournament rule approval
-
Guaranteed performance guidance
Players are responsible for deciding whether to follow any recommendation.
Players should stop using any setup, product, or recommendation that causes discomfort, pain, unsafe play, equipment damage, or tournament rule concerns.
9. No Guaranteed Results
BrineBrain does not guarantee that logging matches, using reports, or following recommendations will improve performance, increase rating, prevent injury, win matches, qualify a player for sponsorship, or produce any specific outcome.
10. Tournament and Equipment Compliance
Players are responsible for confirming whether their paddle, paddle modifications, weights, tape, or other equipment are allowed by the rules of any tournament, league, facility, or governing body where they play.
BrineBrain and EdgeLock do not guarantee that any paddle setup is approved for sanctioned play.
11. Non-Pilot Status
General match loggers are not Pilot 50 players unless specifically accepted into the Pilot 50 Program by EdgeLock or BrineBrain.
Creating a profile or logging matches does not guarantee:

Pilot 50 acceptance

Free products
-
Sponsorship
-
Compensation
-
Tournament credits
-
Discounts
-
Board of Players access
-
Early product access
BrineBrain and EdgeLock may invite general users to apply for future programs, but participation is not guaranteed.
12. Giveaways, Promotions, and Rewards
BrineBrain may offer giveaways, rewards, discounts, promotions, or other incentives.
Any giveaway or promotion may be subject to separate rules, eligibility requirements, location restrictions, age restrictions, and deadlines.
BrineBrain may disqualify users from promotions for false logs, duplicate accounts, fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms.
13. User Conduct
Players agree not to:

Submit false match data

Create duplicate or fake accounts

Log matches they did not play
-
Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
-
Attempt to reverse engineer the platform
-
Interfere with the platform
-
Upload harmful code or spam
-
Misrepresent their relationship with BrineBrain or EdgeLock
-
Use the platform for unlawful purposes
14. Communication
By submitting your email or participating in BrineBrain, you agree that we may:

Send you performance summaries

Provide updates about EdgeLock and BrineBrain
-
Notify you about early access opportunities
-
Notify you about product launches
-
Notify you about giveaways, promotions, surveys, and player opportunities
You can opt out of marketing communications at any time.
Some account-related or program-related communications may still be required to operate the service.
15. Account Suspension or Termination
BrineBrain may suspend, limit, or terminate a player account if the player violates these Terms, submits false information, misuses the platform, creates risk, or harms the company, users, partners, or brand.
BrineBrain may also remove inaccurate, duplicate, incomplete, or suspicious match logs.
16. Marketing and Testimonials
BrineBrain and EdgeLock will not intentionally use a player’s full name, face, image, or likeness in public marketing without permission.
Players may voluntarily submit testimonials, reviews, quotes, or feedback.
By submitting testimonials, reviews, quotes, or feedback, players may grant BrineBrain and EdgeLock permission to use that submitted content unless they request otherwise in writing.
17. No Employment or Compensation
General match logging does not create an employment, contractor, sponsorship, partnership, or agency relationship.
Non-Pilot players are not entitled to compensation for logging matches unless BrineBrain or EdgeLock separately agrees in writing.
18. Platform Changes
BrineBrain may update, modify, pause, or discontinue match logging features, reports, recommendations, promotions, or services at any time.
Continued use after updates means the player accepts the updated Terms.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BrineBrain and EdgeLock are not responsible for injuries, equipment damage, lost matches, tournament disqualification, lost opportunities, data loss, account suspension, indirect damages, or performance outcomes related to use of the platform.
20. Acceptance
By checking the acceptance box, creating a profile, logging a match, or using BrineBrain, the player confirms that they have read, understand, and agree to these BrineBrain Match Logging Terms & Conditions.
For players under 18, a parent or legal guardian must also approve use of the platform.
PILOT 50 TERMS & CONDITIONS
EdgeLock / BrineBrain Pilot 50 Match Logging Program
These Terms apply to players accepted into the Pilot 50 Program, including sponsored, compensated, reimbursed, or monetary participants.

PILOT 50
1. Program Overview
By applying for, accepting, or participating in the Pilot 50 Program, the participant agrees to these Pilot 50 Terms & Conditions.
The Pilot 50 Program is a limited early-access testing and ambassador program operated by EdgeLock LLC and/or BrineBrain.
The purpose of the program is to collect real match data, product feedback, paddle setup feedback, player experience feedback, and performance-related information to help improve:

EdgeLock products
-
BrineBrain software
-
Match reporting
-
Paddle customization recommendations
-
Player performance summaries
-
Future pickleball-related products and services
Participation in the Pilot 50 Program does not guarantee sponsorship, compensation, employment, equity, ownership, future benefits, tournament reimbursement, or continued access to any product or service unless expressly agreed in writing by EdgeLock LLC.
2. Eligibility
To participate, players must:

Be at least 13 years old

Have parent or legal guardian consent if under 18
-
Create a BrineBrain player profile
-
Receive or be assigned a player number by EdgeLock or BrineBrain
-
Accurately log pickleball match information
-
Agree to these Terms & Conditions and any additional program rules
EdgeLock and BrineBrain may accept, reject, pause, or remove any participant from the Pilot 50 Program at their discretion.
3. Minor Participants
Players ages 13–17 may participate only with consent from a parent or legal guardian.
By allowing a minor to participate, the parent or guardian agrees that:

They have reviewed and accepted these Terms

They consent to the minor’s participation

They consent to the collection and use of match logging information as described in these Terms
-
They understand that the minor may receive early access products, program benefits, discounts, credits, or other non-cash perks
-
They understand that any monetary compensation, if offered, may require additional paperwork and parent/guardian authorization
Players under 13 are not eligible for the Pilot 50 Program unless EdgeLock or BrineBrain creates a separate compliant process specifically for that age group.
4. Match Logging Requirements
Pilot 50 players are expected to log match information honestly and consistently.
To remain active, Pilot 50 players must generally log a minimum of 5 matches per week unless otherwise approved by EdgeLock or BrineBrain.
To receive full Pilot 50 benefits, players may be required to log at least 5 matches per week for 10 weeks.
Players may also be asked to log:

Recreational matches

Practice matches

Paddle setup changes

Match outcomes

Player feedback
-
Product feedback

Performance-related information
Logged information may include, but is not limited to:

Win/loss results

Singles or doubles play

Serve errors

Missed dinks

Missed third shots

Hand battle results

Unforced errors
-
ATPs, Ernies, Berts, or other tracked events

Paddle weight placement

Grip style
-
General physical feedback such as soreness, comfort, fatigue, or injury-related limitations
Players agree not to knowingly submit false, misleading, inflated, copied, manipulated, or incomplete match logs.
5. Data Use and Ownership
By submitting match logs, feedback, surveys, paddle setup information, photos, videos, written comments, or other program-related information, the participant grants EdgeLock and BrineBrain the right to use that information for:

Business development

Product development
-
Analytics
-
Research
-
Marketing
-
Investor presentations
-
Software improvement
-
Paddle recommendation systems
-
Internal decision-making
-
Player reports
-
Performance insights
-
Future products and services
EdgeLock and BrineBrain may use aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified data without additional permission or compensation.
EdgeLock and BrineBrain will not intentionally sell personally identifying player match data to third parties without notice or permission, unless permitted by applicable law or covered by a separate privacy policy.
Participant data may be used to improve:

EdgeLock weight placement recommendations

Product design

Software features

Marketing insights

Facility, league, tournament, or sponsorship opportunities
Players understand that their submitted data may become part of EdgeLock and BrineBrain’s proprietary database, analysis systems, reports, product logic, and future business assets.
6. Feedback, Ideas, and Product Suggestions
Players may provide ideas, suggestions, feedback, paddle setup notes, product improvement ideas, software improvement ideas, or other recommendations.
By submitting feedback, the participant agrees that EdgeLock and BrineBrain may use, modify, develop, commercialize, or incorporate that feedback without owing royalties, ownership, credit, compensation, or additional approval unless there is a separate signed written agreement.
7. Confidentiality
Pilot 50 players may receive access to non-public information, prototype products, early software features, product concepts, paddle setup methods, internal reports, private testing materials, or other confidential information.
Participants agree not to share, post, copy, publish, sell, distribute, reverse engineer, or disclose confidential program information without written permission from EdgeLock or BrineBrain.
Confidential information may include:

Prototype EdgeLock products

Weight placement systems
-
BrineBrain reports
-
Private player dashboards
-
Unreleased software features
-
Testing instructions
-
Internal performance recommendations
-
Unreleased pricing
-
Investor or business information
-
Private Pilot 50 communications
This confidentiality obligation continues after the participant leaves or is removed from the Pilot 50 Program.
8. Product Testing and Assumption of Risk
Players understand that EdgeLock products, BrineBrain reports, and related recommendations may be in early testing, prototype, beta, or pilot-stage form.
Players are responsible for safely applying, using, testing, and removing any EdgeLock product or paddle adjustment.
Players understand that paddle modification, added weight, grip changes, equipment changes, or changes in playing style may affect:

Paddle feel
-
Paddle performance
-
Player comfort
-
Fatigue
-
Injury risk
-
Tournament or league compliance
Players participate at their own risk and should stop using any product or recommendation that causes pain, discomfort, unsafe play, equipment damage, or rule concerns.
EdgeLock and BrineBrain do not provide medical advice, physical therapy advice, tournament rule certifications, or guarantees of performance improvement.
9. Tournament and Rule Compliance
Players are responsible for confirming whether any paddle, paddle modification, tape, weight, or EdgeLock setup is allowed under the rules of the tournament, league, facility, or governing body where they play.
EdgeLock and BrineBrain do not guarantee that a paddle setup is approved for every tournament, league, or facility.
Players should check with tournament directors, league officials, or applicable rulebooks before using modified equipment in sanctioned play.
10. Benefits
Pilot 50 players may be eligible for certain benefits, which may include:

Merch
-
Board of Players participation

Private court access opportunities

Event discounts

Benefits are not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.
Benefits may be changed, limited, paused, substituted, or removed at any time.
Certain benefits may require continued active status, minimum match logging, referrals, surveys, event participation, feedback, or other program requirements.
11. Referral Requirements
To remain active, Pilot 50 players may be required to refer at least 1 player every 3 months.
A referred player may be required to:

Create a BrineBrain player profile
-
Log at least 3 matches
-
Provide accurate contact information
-
Agree to BrineBrain’s applicable terms
Fake referrals, duplicate accounts, self-referrals, misleading referrals, or low-quality referrals may not count toward program requirements.
12. Annual Survey Requirement
Pilot 50 players may be required to complete an annual survey or periodic feedback forms to remain active or receive certain benefits.
Failure to complete required surveys may result in loss of active status, paused benefits, or removal from the Pilot 50 Program.
13. Board of Players Participation
Pilot 50 players may be invited to participate in the BrineBrain and EdgeLock Board of Players or similar feedback group.
Participation is advisory only.
Players do not receive voting control, company ownership, equity, legal authority, management rights, or decision-making power unless separately agreed in writing.
EdgeLock and BrineBrain may use player feedback to guide future business, product, event, and software decisions.
14. Marketing, Likeness, and Testimonials
EdgeLock and BrineBrain may ask players for permission to use their name, player number, photos, videos, testimonials, reviews, quotes, match data summaries, or performance improvements for marketing.
Unless a separate written release is signed, EdgeLock and BrineBrain should not use a player’s full name, face, image, or likeness in public marketing without permission.
Players who voluntarily post about EdgeLock or BrineBrain, receive free products, discounts, sponsorship benefits, tournament credits, or compensation must clearly disclose that relationship when posting publicly.
Examples may include:

“Sponsored by EdgeLock.”

“Pilot 50 player for BrineBrain.”
-
“EdgeLock provided me this product.”
-
“I received early access from EdgeLock/BrineBrain.”
15. Monetary Players and Compensation
Some Pilot 50 players may qualify for monetary compensation, sponsorship payments, tournament credits, reimbursement, analyst opportunities, referral bonuses, ambassador payments, or other paid opportunities.
Monetary compensation is not guaranteed.
To qualify for monetary compensation, players may be required to meet additional standards, including but not limited to:

Remaining active in the Pilot 50 Program

Logging a required number of matches
-
Logging tournament matches
-
Submitting accurate and complete data
-
Referring qualified players
-
Representing EdgeLock and BrineBrain professionally
-
Following disclosure requirements
-
Completing surveys or feedback forms
-
Avoiding false, misleading, offensive, or harmful public statements about the company or competitors
-
Complying with tournament, facility, and governing body rules
EdgeLock or BrineBrain may require compensated players to sign a separate written sponsorship, contractor, ambassador, or compensation agreement before receiving payment.
16. Independent Contractor Status for Monetary Players
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, compensated players are independent contractors and are not employees, partners, agents, franchisees, or legal representatives of EdgeLock or BrineBrain.
Compensated players are responsible for their own:

Taxes

Expenses
-
Equipment
-
Transportation
-
Insurance
-
Training
-
Compliance obligations
EdgeLock and BrineBrain may require a completed W-9, payment information, tax forms, parental consent for minors, and other documentation before issuing compensation.
No player is authorized to bind EdgeLock or BrineBrain to any contract, promise, partnership, purchase, refund, warranty, sponsorship, or legal obligation.
17. Payment Conditions
Compensation, if offered, may be based on specific requirements such as:

Tournament participation

Referral performance

Content creation

Feedback quality

Player rating or skill level

Event participation

Analyst work

Brand representation

Board of Players participation
EdgeLock and BrineBrain may withhold, reduce, delay, or deny compensation if a player:

Submits false or misleading logs

Fails to meet program requirements

Violates confidentiality
-
Fails to disclose sponsorship status

Damages the brand
-
Acts unprofessionally
-
Engages in fraud or manipulation
-
Fails to provide required tax or payment forms

Violates these Terms
18. No Guaranteed Results
EdgeLock and BrineBrain do not guarantee that use of the platform, match reports, paddle recommendations, EdgeLock system, or any program benefit will improve player performance, increase rating, win matches, prevent injury, secure sponsorships, qualify a player for tournaments, or produce monetary compensation.
19. Account Suspension or Removal
EdgeLock and BrineBrain may suspend or remove any participant at any time for reasons including:

Inactivity
-
Failure to meet requirements
-
Misuse of products
-
Sharing confidential information
-
Harassment or abusive conduct
-
Unsportsmanlike behavior
-
Brand-damaging conduct
-
Violation of law
-
Violation of tournament or facility rules

Violation of these Terms
Loss of active status may result in loss of benefits, discounts, sponsorship eligibility, tournament credits, compensation eligibility, or access to Pilot 50 features.
20. No Transfer of Benefits
Pilot 50 benefits, player numbers, discounts, early access rights, tournament credits, sponsorship opportunities, and compensation eligibility may not be sold, transferred, assigned, or shared without written permission from EdgeLock or BrineBrain.
21. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EdgeLock and BrineBrain are not liable for injuries, lost matches, tournament disqualification, equipment damage, lost profits, lost opportunities, data loss, account suspension, indirect damages, or performance outcomes related to participation in the Pilot 50 Program.
22. Changes to the Program
EdgeLock and BrineBrain may update, pause, expand, reduce, replace, or end the Pilot 50 Program at any time.
Updated terms may be posted, emailed, or provided through the platform.
Continued participation after updated terms are provided means the participant accepts the updated terms.
23. Acceptance
By checking the acceptance box, creating a profile, submitting match logs, receiving Pilot 50 benefits, or participating in the Pilot 50 Program, the participant confirms that they have read, understand, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
For participants under 18, a parent or legal guardian must also accept these Terms.
